Ever since the All-Star break of last season, there has been a hunger in Utah that wasn’t quite there before.

The Utah Jazz missed the playoffs last season after putting up a 19-10 record after the All-Star break and they’ve been waiting for their opportunity to get back to the NBA playoffs ever since. However, this year Utah is right back in the thick of the playoff race and they could propel themselves into the postseason tournament if they win enough late in the season.

The bad news is their schedule gets a bit tougher as they’ll play against playoff teams such as the San Antonio Spurs, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Memphis Grizzlies, Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder, to name a few. But the good news is that this team is equipped to play against most of the teams in the league.

Since Utah stands as one of the last team battling for a playoff spot in the Western Conference, here are five things they need to do in order to finish the season strong and make sure they don’t miss the playoffs again.
