18. Paul Millsap, Atlanta Hawks

Last Rank: No. 17

Position: Power Forward

Age: 31

Slash Line: .477/.323/.760

Season Averages: 32.6 MPG, 17.7 PPG, 8.6 RPG, 2.5 ORPG, 3.3 APG, 1.8 SPG, 1.4 BPG, 0.9 3PM

Based on the way he’s constantly overlooked, you wouldn’t think that Paul Millsap were a three-time All-Star. That’s exactly what the 31-year-old is, however, and he’s having the best season of his very strong career in 2015-16.

While some may suggest that he’s a system player, the Atlanta Hawks’ success and failure in 2015-16 has depended heavily on Millsap’s performances.

According to Basketball-Reference.com, Millsap is the only player averaging at least 15.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.5 steals in 2015-16. Considering he’s also averaging more than a block per game, and has made more than 50 3-point field goals, only one conclusion can be drawn.

Millsap may not be a master of any one skill, but he’s your proverbial jack of all trades.

Atlanta has hit a bit of a rough patch, but its losses coincide with Millsap underwhelming. Atlanta is 9-14 when Millsap converts less than 45.0 percent of his field goal attempts, and 22-13 when he shoots 45.0 percent or better from the floor.

Millsap has undoubtedly been a Top 20 player in the NBA.
