This is Jackson’s debut here on Giacubeno’s Gunners as he continues to lead the Pistons alongside Andre Drummond to the first playoff berth since the 2008-09 season. Since the break, the Pistons haven’t been playing at the level that is needed to keep a playoff spot in the much tougher Eastern Conference.

Since Thursday, the Pistons have already played three games–finishing 1-2. Jackson put together a solid week scoring-wise and had his best performance in a loss against the New Orleans Pelicans when he tallied 34 points. Jackson shot 4-for-7 from the outside and went a perfect 8-for-8 from the charity stripe in the effort, but it wasn’t enough to seal the victory (you’ll figure out why later on this list).

The Pistons are trying to keep their head above water in terms of the playoff picture. The acquisition of Tobias Harris should be a process to get the maximum production, but they don’t have much time. Every game from here on out is crucial to their playoff hopes and Jackson and Drummond will be depended upon to lead them to that goal.
