2009 The Houston Rockets

Not the jersey we’ve come accustomed to seeing Lowry wear and yet he could’ve been something in Houston. Lowry got better every season he was in Houston. Despite injury concerns his PER rose from 15.5, to 16.5, to 18.8 in his three seasons with the team.

The Deal

It was a three-way deal. The Rockets parted ways with Rafer Alston sending him to Orlando, in return the Rockets received Kyle Lowry and Brian Cook. The Memphis Grizzlies who helped facilitate acquired Adonal Foyle, Mike Wilks, and a future first (Became DeMarre Carroll).

Carroll would eventually find his way to Houston then Toronto where he is currently a teammate of Kyle Lowry.
