2016 Los Angeles Clippers
We don’t have the benefit of looking back in 2016. The Pistons were by far the most aggressive team, but they are only now entering the conversation as a contender. The Clippers have had championship talent for three straight years and done nothing with it. They’re praying that Jeff Green will be the difference maker this season.
Hoping third time is the charm for Jeff Green. Clippers need him to be what both Celtics & Grizzlies initially hoped he would be.

The Deal
The Clippers acquired Jeff Green for Lance Stephenson and a first-round pick. It signifies a change in direction for the Memphis Grizzlies who are without the services of injured Marc Gasol and dealt guard Courtney Lee earlier this week. However, the Los Angeles Clippers are doubling down. They’ve made their bed, will see what comes of it in the playoffs.
