2000 The Orlando Magic

Maybe the worst deadline ever. One lousy trade. Could you imagine the social media back lash from having one deadline deal today? Twitter would become one negative and unhappy place. Johnson only played 18 games in Orlando before re-signing with the Hawks in the off-season. In a hilarious fashion Johnson actually finished his career in Orlando, signing with the Magic in 2008.

The Deal

Anthony Johnson was traded to the Orlando Magic for a 2004 second-round pick. No crazy hindsight selection either, the pick became Viktor Sanikidze. The pick was actually reacquired by the Hawks before he was drafted but Sanikidze never suited up for a NBA game.
