2007 The Toronto Raptors

The 2007 trade deadline was bustling room of rumors resulting in squat. The day came and went with an awkward silence. Big names like Pau Gasol, Jason Kidd, and Vince Carter all stayed home. In the end only three deals surfaced, two of which involved a player being dumped for a second-round pick.

The Deal

The Raptors traded swingman Fred Jones to the Portland Trailblazers for Juan Dixon.

Dixon had a short stint in Tdot as he was dealt to the Detroit Pistons the next season. Dixon provided solid play off the bench for the Raptors, unfortunately the Raptors were over-matched in the playoffs and fell to Carter and the New Jersey Nets in six games.
