Top Four SFs

  1. Gordon Hayward (Jazz) – $7,100 @ Celtics (26th)
  2. Carmelo Anthony (Knicks) – $8,600 @ Nets (16th)
  3. Matt Barnes (Grizzlies) – $5,000 vs. Timberwolves (11th)
  4. Chandler Parsons (Mavericks) – $6,300 @ Magic (18th)

Rationale:

  • Hayward has not played against the Celtics, and former college coach Brad Stevens, this season. It will be tough to score against Boston, who is fourth opponent field goal percentage, but Hayward should work to get to the free throw line. He’s projected to score 40.5 fantasy points.
  • Anthony is scoring 46.8 fantasy points against the Nets this season. Brooklyn is third worst in opponent field goal percentage and 23rd in opponent three-point percentage. He’s projected to score 43.4 fantasy points.
  • Barnes is only scoring 14 FPPG in two meetings with the Wolves. He shoots much better at home than on the road, and with the departures of Courtney Lee and Jeff Green he should see more playing time. He has good upside and is projected to score 28.4 fantasy points.
  • Parsons hasn’t played the Magic this season. He was finally playing like his old self before the All-Star Break and and has another opportunity to do so against a middle-of-the-road defense. Orlando is 14th in opponent field goal percentage and 16th in opponent three-point percentage. He’s projected to score 28.4 fantasy points.
