Kobe Bryant‘s many moments deserve a statue in Los Angeles, but the problem comes down to choosing just one

The Kobe Bryant retirement tour continued its rounds through All-Star Weekend in Toronto. Ceremonies commenced with Bryant playing his last performance among the league’s elite. As usual, his reception was warm, and the greats like Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan paid homage. Bryant ended up on the winning end, with the West overtaking the East 196-173.

Speaking of winning and Magic Johnson, there’s been lots of rumbling regarding the Los Angeles Lakers honoring Bryant. Johnson was the recipient of his statue outside the Staples Center, along with Shaquille O’Neal, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and play-by-play man Chick Hearn. Bryant should certainly be next in line to be immortalized as one of the legends of Laker lore.

The only question that remains is how Bryant will be frozen in time.
