Andrea Bargnani

2015-16 Stats:

  • PPG: 6.6
  • RPG: 2.1

Let’s keep this simple: The Brooklyn Nets are an absolute mess. With a few very bad contracts on the payroll, they will be looking at just about everything that comes their way. With that in mind, Andrea Bargnani is said to be a candidate of a buyout, according to Yahoo! Sports.

Bargnani has hit a rough part of his career after signing with the Nets, but even this season, he has made an impact on one of the worst teams in the league. Averaging just 13.8 minutes per game, Bargnani has had some decent games including a 20-point outing against the Miami Heat and a 23-point outing against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Though Bargnani is not the best rebounder in the league, he can score in and around the paint and usually stays pretty efficient from the floor.

The case to make for the Mavs is that he would be an extra body to toss in the paint. If the Mavs miss out on other options during the course of the season, they could turn to Bargnani.
