10. Kevin Martin

Kevin Martin is one of those players who has a couple of undeniably useful skills that he provides on paper — namely, bench scoring and three-point shooting. And yet, he’s still the guy that no fan really wants on his/her own favorite team.

His lack of defense is egregious, and the possibility that he opts into the final year of his contract — worth $7.4 million — would make him more than a two-month rental. That prospect may deter contenders from seeking to acquire his services.

This season, K-Mart is averaging 11.3 points per game on 37.5 percent shooting from the field. Though he’s still converting 36.4 percent from three-point range, his numbers are WAY down from last year’s 20.0 points per game on more efficient .427/.393/.881 shooting splits.

Given his porous defense and the possibility he’d be on the books for next year, Kevin Martin’s value has plummeted since his days with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Minnesota Timberwolves are trying to do him a solid by trading him to a more competitive team…but those teams might be sending the Wolves’ calls straight to voicemail at this point.
