With the 2016 NBA Trade Deadline rapidly approaching, here’s a look at 10 players teams should avoid dealing for.

The Feb. 18 NBA Trade Deadline for the 2015-16 season is finally at hand! With the deadline arriving in mere hours, the time for speculation is rapidly dissolving into concrete deals, much to the chagrin and/or delight of various basketball fans around the country.

But before the ESPN reports, Woj Bombs and breaking news begin to rain down on Twitter like Biblical plagues, it’s time to quickly turn our attention an issue that needs to be addressed: the big names that your favorite NBA team should be avoiding like, well, one of those aforementioned Biblical plagues.

We’ve seen plenty of big names tossed around in trade rumors and reports over the last few weeks, including Kevin Love, Dwight Howard, Al Horford, Hassan Whiteside and Blake Griffin. But among those who are actually likely to be dealt or included in trade discussions before today’s 3 p.m. ET deadline, which ones should teams avoid at all costs?

To make this list, a player has to A) be a relatively big name, B) have been involved in a credible trade report or rumor and C) be a player that teams should not give up assets for. Here’s a look at 10 players who should be avoided in the chaos of the 2016 NBA Trade Deadline, starting with a few honorable mentions that just missed the cut.
