Milwaukee Bucks: Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Milwaukee Bucks have one of the deepest and strongest young rosters in the NBA. The starting lineup alone consists of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Michael Carter-Williams, Khris Middleton, Greg Monroe, and Jabari Parker—five players with realistic All-Star potential.

Every one of those players deserves to be heralded as untouchable, but none qualify more than Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Antetokounmpo was selected at No. 15 overall in the 2013 NBA Draft. In his third season, the 21-year-old is averaging 15.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.2 blocks, and 1.0 steal on 50.5 percent shooting from the field.

There are many talented young players on Milwaukee’s roster, but it’s Antetokounmpo who flashes the most significant potential.

There are more flashes than consistent signs of stardom, but at 21 years old, that’s reason enough to be impressive. Antetokounmpo is a 6’11” point forward, of sorts, with the ball-handling and court vision to potentially run point, and the strength and slashing ability to be a Top 15 scorer.

If Antetokounmpo ever manages to fix his jump shot, he’ll live up to his undeniable superstar potential.
