Los Angeles Clippers: Blake Griffin & Chris Paul

The Los Angeles Clippers have a trio of stars who made All-NBA appearances in 2014-15: Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and Chris Paul. Jordan is the defensive anchor, Paul is the face of the franchise, and Griffin is the 26-year-old being groomed as CP3’s heir apparent.

It’s hard to single any one of those players out as the untouchable, but it comes down to Griffin and Paul.

Paul has never made it past the second round of the playoffs, but he’s one of the NBA’s premier point guards. He’s a nine-time All-Star, a seven-time All-NBA selection, and a seven-time All-Defensive Team honoree.

Most importantly, he’s proven to be a big-game performer at the position that’s become more important than any other in the modern NBA.

On the other hand, Griffin was Top 5 in the MVP voting in 2013-14 and has played at a Top 10 level in 2014-15 and 2015-16. He recorded multiple triple-doubles during the 2015 NBA Playoffs, and is just now entering his prime.

Recent transgressions have reportedly made Griffin available, but this duo must be kept together if Los Angeles hopes to win a championship..
