Markieff Morris, Mirza Teletovic or Jon Leuer

See, I told you that we’d get to the other stretch-4s in a minute.

The Suns are a complete wreck right now and should be looking at gutting this team. They have a collection of stretch-4s with Markieff Morris, Mirza Teletovic, and Jon Leuer.

Morris is a player that the Clippers should take a look at. The Clippers have shown that they’re not afraid to take chances on infamously moody players like Lance Stephenson and Josh Smith, but their mostly sour experiences with those two might have changed their outlook on dealing for volatile players.

Morris has made his issues clear with the Suns management and most believe that he won’t be with Phoenix past the deadline and that it won’t take much to get him. Morris hasn’t been playing as well on the court this season, shooting only 39.9 percent from the field and 28.9 percent on three-pointers, but his play has picked up since the Suns fired head coach Jeff Hornacek.

In the first game after Hornacek was fired, Morris went off for 30 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists against the Toronto Raptors.

Morris also has a penchant for playing well against Warriors forward and matchup nightmare Draymond Green, something that could come in handy if the Clippers were to run into the Warriors in the playoffs. Against the Warriors on Wednesday night, Morris had 19 points, eight rebounds, and four assists while Green had nine points on 1-for-5 shooting, six rebounds, and three assists.

Teletovic and Leuer are also rumored to be available and in high-demand for teams that covet a power forward who can stretch the floor. Both excel at knocking down the three-pointer, with Teletovic shooting 40.5 percent from deep while Leuer shoots 40.2 percent.

The numbers say Leuer is a better rebounder and a little less trigger-happy than Teletovic, but the Clippers should be trying to take one of Phoenix’s three stretch-4s.
