1. Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves

If you didn’t see Karl-Anthony Towns compete in All-Star Weekend, I feel bad for you.

He put on more than a show in both the Rising Stars Challenge and the Skills Challenge. Towns showed off his all-around skill set for a big man and could have the most upside of any young player in the NBA, including Anthony Davis.

What he does in the second half of the season will tell us where he wants to take his development. Does he want perimter-oriented tasks in terms of driving the ball up the floor and working on his playmaking or does he want to continue dominating down low and stepping out when needed like a Marc Gasol?

We’ll see what Towns ultimately becomes in due time, but I can’t wait to see just how good he is down the road.
