Kemba Walker

The last few days must have been rough for Kemba Walker. He’s having a career season in many aspects, and his improved play is a big reason why his Charlotte Hornets currently sit in eighth in the Eastern Conference.

And although he didn’t get voted into the All-Star game or get selected by the coaches, suddenly not one but two spots opened up due to injury! If he wasn’t one of the 12 most deserving players, certainly Kemba would be one of the most 14 deserving, right?

Nope. Pau Gasol and Al Horford got those two spots, and Kemba Walker got nothing. He doesn’t have the experience or respect that those two do, so it does make sense why NBA Commissioner Adam Silver went with them.

Kemba’s season averages of 20.5 points, 5.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.8 steals per game certainly suggest he should’ve at least been up for those spots, though. Walker has yet to make an All-Star team, though it feels like he’s good enough to sneak into one or two before he decides to hang up his sneakers for good.
