Kobe Bryant/Wolverine

Of course I had to end the slide show with the legend. It is his swan song and he deserves to go out with a bang. So why not depict him as one of the most fearless, cool and cutthroat Marvel characters ever?

Kobe Bryant is known as a cerebral assassin, a cold-blooded animal and even a loner at times. His competitive nature sets him apart from many of league’s bets players in history. He won’t think for a second before ripping your heart out of your chest to secure a victory.

All these attributes convey him as Wolverine. He is probably Marvel’s most ruthless character and can often lash out in an intense rage on his enemies — almost like an animal that stalks its prey and goes for the kill. It’s a trait Bryant has been praised for during his 20-year career, often referred to as “killer instinct.”

Bryant and Wolverine also share a quality of not always being able to play well with others at times (Shaquille O’Neal, Cyclops). But they also are thought of as being mentors to the young players and superheroes that have come after them. Many people don’t normally see their soft side, but they definitely have compassion for those around them, even if they don’t always show it.

Wolverine’s ability to heal would’ve came in handy for Bryant as he drags himself to the finish line. But no matter how he finishes the season, Bryant will always be remembered for what he brought to the game of basketball and infinite amount of knowledge he left behind.
