On NBA All-Star Weekend, we take a look at each NBA star’s Marvel counterpart.

NBA All-Star Weekend is underway! The stars are arriving in Toronto and the festivities are set to begin. It’s also about two months into the year and we’re officially into the start of the first of many superhero movies set to bring back nostalgia.

Deadpool is the first to make its mark and with the vast majority of hero movies coming out, it got me thinking: What would the league’s best players be like if they were our favorite Marvel superheroes?

Marvel has already done a piece on NBA stars through ESPN, back in 2010 for ESPN the Magazine. I wanted to see how these stars would look if they actually were the favorite heroes we love to watch on the big screen.

So without further ado, here are your favorite NBA All-Stars as Marvel superheroes. Illustrated by yours truly.
