NBA Trade Rumors: Trade Priorities For All 30 Teams
Oklahoma City Thunder
While everyone is talking about the impending free agency of Kevin Durant, the Oklahoma City Thunder are gearing towards a deep postseason run that could realistically end in a championship. The Thunder have the third best record in the league; now they need to find the missing piece to topple the Spurs and Warriors, and that will likely mean improving their bench.
The Thunder are missing Andre Roberson’s defensive prowess, which has caused their bench to be weaker with Dion Waiters in the starting lineup. But once Roberson comes back for injury, the Thunder will need to strengthen their forward positions, whether it’s a backup small forward or a backup power forward.

Oklahoma City needs to go for broke and play to win the NBA championship this season. With Durant becoming an unrestricted free agent, this may be the last opportunity the Thunder get for awhile. Looking at who is available, Ryan Anderson could be an offensive addition to the bench. Anderson could play at either forward position and would be an upgrade over Anthony Morrow, Kyle Singler and Mitch McGary.
That change may be too drastic for the Thunder, since they are already a team with great chemistry. Call me crazy, but bringing Thabo Sefolosha back would provide a strong defensive presence and player that can be a third or fourth option offensively.
Whatever the Thunder decide to do, they need to save their future draft picks and be aggressive in pursuing a forward to back up Durant or Serge Ibaka. If the Thunder can add an athletic forward that can excel defensively, they become an even more impressive threat to challenge the Warriors in the playoffs.
