As previously alluded to, the California Golden Bears have two of the Top 10 prospects in the 2016 NBA Draft. The second of those two players is a raw, but incredibly promising power forward named Ivan Rabb.

Rabb has a long way to go before he’s ready for NBA stardom, but in his current form, he’s reminiscent of a young Chris Bosh.

Rabb, like teammate Jaylen Brown, is more intriguing because of his upside than his present-day ability. He’s an outstanding rebounder and a potentially dominant shot-blocker whose raw athleticism and nose for the ball creates significant two-way intrigue.

In a perfect world, Rabb will pan out as expected and emerge as this draft class’s Chris Bosh.

Rabb, like Bosh was with the Toronto Raptors, is a skinny power forward with a long wingspan and the explosiveness to control the glass on both ends. A safer comparison may be Brandan Wright, who never developed the shooting range that makes Bosh so dynamic.

If Rabb gets his jump shot to fall with consistency, he can be one of the most prolific prospects to emerge from this draft class.
