J.J. Redick

Shooting has never been more important in the NBA and there aren’t many better shooters having a better season than J.J. Redick.

More from LA Clippers

I already covered Redick’s amazing season here and not much has changed since. Redick is averaging 16.4 points per game on 47.5 percent shooting and ranks second in the entire league with 47.6 percent three-point shooting. Redick’s efficiency has been off the charts this season and ranks ninth in the league with 1.43 points per shot attempt.

It would be hard for the Clippers to trade Redick away as he’s quietly the player that allows the rest of the offense to flow so smoothly with the spacing that he creates. Redick running around screens to free himself has been a big part of the offense since Blake Griffin started missing time and has been beneficial for everyone on the floor. Don’t expect Redick to be dealt anytime soon simply because he means more for the Clippers than he would on just about every other team.

Redick has only one more year left after this season but is on a steal of a deal and will cost the Clippers just $7.3 million for his services next season.
