Jamal Crawford

Is Jamal Crawford a vampire?

Probably not, but he ages like one, meaning that he doesn’t age at all.

Crawford will turn 36 next month, but he still pays and looks like he’s 26. Crawford has his flaws (defense, ball-stopping, shot selection), but he’s a professional scorer and you can depend on him to put points on the board.

Bench scoring is a problem for many teams in the league and Crawford has spent the last six seasons being one of the league’s best bench scorers. He can get his own shot almost whenever he pleases and even when he cannot, he has a knack for making bad shots.

Crawford has scored 20 or more points in five of the last six games for the Clippers going into the All-Star Break and has been yet again the reason why the Clippers’ bench unit has survived when the starters take a breather.

The Clippers aren’t the only team that needs Crawford’s bench scoring and it wouldn’t be surprising to hear Crawford’s name mentioned as the deadline gets closer.
