4. Will The Bulls Make Any Moves Prior To Trade Deadline?

A few weeks ago, I said that the Bulls should strongly consider trading Gasol, a sentiment that some readers disagreed with based on the solid numbers he has posted.

However, as I stated back then, being that he has already mentioned that he will more than likely to opt out of the third year of his contract, it would be wise for the Bulls to see what his trade value is instead of risk letting him walk away with nothing to show for it.

In light of Butler’s injury, however, and the fact that the team is not known for making in-season deals, it is very unlikely that the Bulls will look to make any serious moves ahead of next week’s trade deadline.

In other words, Bulls fans will have to hold on to the slim hope that this team is capable of making a strong playoff push once the second half of the season starts.
