Top Four SFs

  1. Gordon Hayward (Jazz) – $7,300 @ Pelicans (14th)
  2. Jeff Green (Grizzlies) – $5,700 @ Nets (17th)
  3. P.J. Tucker (Suns) – $5,400 vs. Warriors (24th)
  4. Stanley Johnson (Pistons) – $6,000 vs. Nuggets (20th)

Rationale:

  • Hayward is scoring 27.3 FPPG in two meetings with the Pelicans, due to shooting a poor 38.5 percent from the field. With news that Tyreke Evans will miss the rest of the season, according to The Vertical, it will be tougher for the Pels to defend. Hayward is projected to score 37.8 fantasy points.
  • Green scored 26 fantasy points against the Nets in their first meeting this season. The Nets are 28th in opponents’ field goal percentage and 17th in team rebounding percentage. Those are the two areas Green needs to excel in. He’s projected to score 28.2 fantasy points.
  • Tucker is scoring 3.8 FPPG in two meetings with the Warriors this season. However, that came with a healthy team. Despite the Warriors leading the NBA in opponents’ field goal percentage, Tucker is projected to score 25.3 fantasy points due to his rebounding and stealing abilities.
  • Johnson scored 19 fantasy points against the Nuggets in their first meeting this season. Since taking over as starter for the injured Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Johnson is averaging 30.2 FPPG in four starts. He’s projected to score 28.8 fantasy points.
  • Also consider drafting Marcus Morris and Kent Bazemore.
