26. Miami Heat: Dario Saric, Croatia

Original selection: 12th by the Orlando Magic (later traded to the Philadelphia 76ers)

2014-15 statistics for Anadolu Efes: 12.6 PPG 6.4 RPG 2.3 APG

Dario Saric is still one of the prized overseas talent today. The Sixers are hoping he can come join them for the 2016-17 season to start forming him into an NBA player, but it is unpredictable with European players as to when they will leave and try their luck.

Saric has the potential to be a point forward with his ability to handle the ball in transition at 6’10,” and he also shows great IQ for the game with his off-ball movement.

As it pertains to the Heat, they have the time to give Saric this season overseas, and if they were able to snag him for the 2016-17 season, it would really help their frontcourt depth. In the NBA, there have been plenty of Europeans who haven’t panned out in the NBA game, but Saric’s feel for the game gives good indication that he could have a successful career in the States.
