23. Utah Jazz: Jordan Adams, UCLA

Original selection: 22nd by the Memphis Grizzlies

2015-16 statistics: 3.5 PPG 1.5 APG 1.0 RPG 17.56 PER

Jordan Adams was a fair first-round selection coming out of UCLA as a sophomore. He was thought of as a perfect fit for a three-and-D type of player that is coveted in today’s league.

Memphis and Adams seemed to be the perfect fit for each other, but he hasn’t been able to get significant minutes night in and night out. When he would get playing time (usually when the Grizzlies were down by a large margin), Adams showed that he can still have an impact as he did in college shooting from the outside and getting his hands on opponent’s passes.

Adams could be a nice fit for Utah. The Jazz are similar to the Grizzlies in the sense that both teams pride themselves at the defensive end, but Adams could be another sniper off the bench for Utah.
