2016 NBA Rookie Ladder: Post All-Star Break Expectations
1. Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves
What more can be said about Towns at this point in his career?
He’s flashed potential in nearly every part of the game of basketball on both ends of the floor. Scoring, rebounding, passing, rim protection and help defense are just a few of the critical areas he’s made strides in all while building up to a 22.79 PER with averages of 16.7 points, 10.1 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game on the year.
This kid has all the potential in the world and has already been talked about as the best player in the NBA under the age of 25. Considering he’s only 20 years old himself that’s quite an accomplishment to have under his belt.

I expect to see more brilliance from him moving forward, primarily from the perimeter. He has the three-point shot in his arsenal and I would like to see him take advantage of it from this point on. Other than that he’s put his confidence and winning mentality on display all year, and the scary part is he’s only going to get better as time goes on.
