Best Bargains

Wayne Ellington ($4,200) has been playing around 30 minutes per game in his last eight games, allowing his production and value to increase. His price hasn’t caught up to his production yet. He’s scoring 19.9 FPPG in that eight-game span. He’s a cheap option, but could allow DraftKings users to spend big at other positions.

Jared Dudley ($4,700) started on Friday in place of the injured Nene (calf). He’s scoring 28.3 FPPG in two meetings with the Hornets this season, and that is with starter’s minutes. He should hit on value again, as he has in four of his last five games, if he starts again on Saturday. He’s scoring 26.0 FPPG in his last five games.

E’Twaun Moore ($4,500) is another option to start, with the likelihood of Jimmy Butler missing Saturday night’s game. Moore is scoring 21.7 FPPG in his last five games. During those five games he is playing around 30 minutes per game. He is getting in a rhythm with the increased minutes, shooting 6-for-7 (85.7 percent) from three-point range. He could be leaned on as a scorer if Butler is out.

Players To Sit

Kobe Bryant ($6,000) will likely be a popular play due to scoring 51.3 FPPG in his last three games. However, those performances came against the Hornets, Timberwolves and Pelicans. The Spurs are a much different animal as the NBA’s best defensive team. He’s scoring 21.3 FPPG in two meetings with the Spurs this season. Bryant will shoot the ball a lot, but isn’t a strong play on Saturday.

Zach Randolph ($5,900) didn’t play well against the Mavericks in their first meeting. He only scored 18 fantasy points against them, in large part due to a 3-for-10 shooting night. He doesn’t score as well at home as he does on the road, where he averages 3.0 FPPG better than at home. Despite playing the 24th team versus power forwards, I don’t like the way ZBo has played lately or the matchup.
