Top Four SGs

  1. Klay Thompson (Warriors) – $7,800 vs. Thunder (17th)
  2. Andrew Wiggins (Timberwolves) – $6,500 vs. Bulls (10th)
  3. Rodney Hood (Jazz) – $5,900 @ Suns (26th)
  4. Garrett Temple (Wizards) – $4,700 @ Hornets (28th)

Rationale:

  • Thompson is playing well in his last four games, scoring 43.3 FPPG. The up-tempo style of play will favor him if he can get into a position to catch and shoot. With Dion Waiters defending him, Thompson has the height advantage to shoot over him.
  • Wiggins scored 41.3 fantasy points against the Bulls in their first meeting. He scored 30-plus points in his last two games on his way to averaging 43.5 FPPG. With Jimmy Butler likely out after being carted off in a chair on Friday, Wiggins can exploit a matchup with the Bulls’ best defender out.
  • Hood is scored 29.5 FPPG in his first meeting with the Suns this season. He’s on a similar pace over his last six games, scoring 29.8 FPPG. His offense will be a determining factor in fantasy value and it should come in bunches with the Suns ranking last in opponent field goal percentage (.472).
  • Temple is averaging 20.8 FPPG in two meetings with the Hornets. He’s a top value pick at his price point since he has played 30-plus minutes in his last six games. He’s scoring 19.8 FPPG in that six game span.
