With NCAA tournament resumes now being more significant, some teams in the potential field are lacking signature wins, leaving the door open to be left out or drop lower in seeding.

Now that the calendar has flipped to February, we’re in the final month of regular-season basketball, meaning all major conference teams are now in the spotlight.

Teams at the top of the polls are now going to be targeted even more while teams in the middle of their respective conference races are looking to take them down.

February is known to create even more chaos as teams are scratching and clawing for their NCAA tournament lives. Some teams are firmly in the tournament field according the to bracketology experts, but that doesn’t mean they really should be there. It’s mostly out of necessity to fill the field.

Here are seven teams projected as NCAA tournament teams right now that need to find at least one signature win in the next month to justify their inclusion in the NCAA tournament.
