Rumors are flying around where Kevin Durant will end up in free agency, but he has plenty of reasons to stay in Oklahoma City.

At the conclusion of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s season, Kevin Durant will enter free agency for the first time in his career.

To this point, most of the rumors surrounding Durant leaving OKC had him landing with the Houston Rockets, Miami Heat or his hometown Washington Wizards. However, another team is apparently in the mix.

Adrian Wojnarowski reported that the Golden State Warriors are a serious threat to land Durant in free agency. The Warriors are already have a stacked roster and a championship under their belt, and are well on their way to collecting another one this year.

If the Warriors make a series of moves, they could have the cap space and a spot for Durant to play all the minutes he can handle. Golden State has essentially created a perfect team on both ends with a championship coach and top-notch front office.

With all of that being said, they still won’t be the frontrunners to earn Durant’s services. Durant has never shown any signs of looking to leave Oklahoma, and if anything has looked for every reason to stay.

No matter what the Warriors are able to offer, there are multiple reasons that Durant would want to remain a member of the Thunder organization.
