NBA Trade Rumors: 5 Teams That Could Use Pau Gasol

Speaking of teams that want to win a title sooner rather than later, the Miami Heat are currently trying to make a title run or two in the twilight of Dwyane Wade‘s illustrious career.

The championship experience on a team with Wade, Gasol and Chris Bosh would be outstanding. No team would want to match up with this squad in the playoffs–that’s three players who know exactly how to win when the stakes are at their highest.

There are a lot of possibilities for trades between these two teams, too. Hassan Whiteside could be sent to Chicago to be re-signed there so Miami wouldn’t have to go crazy into the tax to try and retain him this coming summer.

Luol Deng and Whiteside could be swapped for Gasol and some minor Bulls player straight up. That might not be the exact trade, but it’s a possibility. Miami might want more than that for two good players, but Gasol might help the Heat more than either of those players individually.
