Top Four PFs

  1. Kevin Love (Cavaliers) – $7,600 @ Hornets (25th)
  2. Thaddeus Young (Nets) – $6,100 vs. Pacers (22nd)
  3. Taj Gibson (Bulls) – $5,600 @ Kings (23rd)
  4. Tristan Thompson (Cavaliers) – $5,400 @ Hornets (25th)

Rationale:

  • Love scored 41 fantasy points against the Hornets in their first meeting. He’s become a go-to scoring option in his last four games, which has translated into scoring 44.6 FPPG. He also has a good opportunity to have a strong rebounding night, since the Hornets are 18th in rebounding percentage.
  • Young’s price tag has fallen by $1,000 from nine games ago. He should have a strong game against the Pacers, who allowed Love to have a big game against them. Young scored 39.5 fantasy points against the Pacers in their first meeting.
  • Gibson is scoring 30.6 FPPG in his last three games. That comes with a minutes increase that he’s received, playing 37 minutes per game in those three games. He’s taking eight shots per game, and if DeMarcus Cousins (questionable) is out of action he could improve offensively.
  • Thompson scored 24 fantasy points previously against the Hornets. When he rebounds, he exceeds in the fantasy lineup. He should do just that against the Hornets, who are 25th in defensive rebounding percentage. That means that Thompson should be able to excel on the offensive glass and rack up some easy points.
