Top Four SFs

  1. Kevin Durant (Thunder) – $10,400 vs. Magic (14th)
  2. LeBron James (Cavaliers) – $9,700 @ Hornets (13th)
  3. Gordon Hayward (Jazz) – $7,500 vs. Nuggets (23rd)
  4. Aaron Gordon (Magic) – $5,400 @ Thunder (9th)

Rationale:

  • Durant is a player that is a strong play even when he misses value, because he has scored at least 20 points in 41 of his 42 games this season. He previously had 69 fantasy points against the Magic this season, including a 43-point, 12-rebound performance.
  • James scored 49.8 fantasy points in his first meeting with the Hornets. During the Cavs’ five-game winning streak he is scoring 47.1 FPPG. He’s reached 50-plus fantasy points in each of his last two games.
  • Hayward is scoring 35.5 FPPG in his first two meetings with the Nuggets this season. He’s played well as of late, scoring 43.0 FPPG over his last seven games. Denver is 23rd in opponents’ field goal percentage (.460) and opponents’ points per game (104.0).
  • Gordon scored 22.8 fantasy points in his first meeting with the Thunder, in a time where he was struggling to add value. Since his fantasy value began improving, he is scoring 29.7 FPPG in that eight-game stretch. Gordon’s a high-risk, high-reward play on Wednesday because he relies on rebounding and the Thunder are first in rebounding percentage (.543).
