Top Four PGs

  1. Russell Westbrook (Thunder) – $11,000 @ Wizards (26th)
  2. Kyrie Irving (Cavaliers) – $6,800 @ Hornets (15th)
  3. Goran Dragic (Heat) – $5,500 @ Mavericks (25th)
  4. George Hill (Pacers) – $5,500 @ Nets (22nd)

Rationale:

  • Westbrook scored 76.8 fantasy points against the Wizards in his first contest against them this season. He has two straight triple-doubles and has exceeded his season average in all of his last five games. He’s the only elite tier player that I’d consider playing.
  • Irving has found great success in the new up-tempo offense the Cavs are running. In their five wins, he’s scoring 33.1 FPPG and had that average drop because he sat out against the Suns in a blowout.
  • Dragic scored 36.5 fantasy points against the Mavs in their first meeting. He’s been scoring consistently around his season average, scoring 26.4 FPPG over his last six contests. Since the Mavs are 16th in opponents’ field goal percentage, Dragic will have plenty of opportunities for assists.
  • Hill only scored 19.5 fantasy points previously against the Nets, in part due to a 27.3 percent shooting night. He’s scoring 29.2 FPPG in his last four games, where he’s also averaged 40.3 minutes per game. He’s seen an increase in playing time and his shooting percentage should increase against the Nets.
