Top Four PGs
- Kyle Lowry (Raptors) – $8,700 @ Suns (30th)
- Isaiah Thomas (Celtics) – $7,500 @ Knicks (21st)
- Ricky Rubio (Timberwolves) – $6,500 @ Lakers (28th)
- Zach LaVine (Timberwolves) – $5,300 @ Lakers (28th)
Rationale:
- Lowry scored 37 fantasy points in his first game against the Suns, despite shooting 35.7 percent from the field. Without Brandon Knight and Eric Bledsoe, Lowry should have a field day. Especially since the Suns are the worst team in opponents’ field goal percentage, allowing opponents to shoot 47.3 percent against them.
- Thomas is scoring 46.1 FPPG in two meetings with the Knicks, despite shooting 15.4 percent from three-point range. He shoots better on the road than he does at home, which leads to him scoring 2.7 FPPG better on the road than at home.
- Rubio is scoring 45.1 FPPG in two games against the Lakers. LaVine has only scored 13.5 FPPG in the same games, but he only averaged 19.5 minutes per game in that span. He’s been playing for the injured Kevin Martin, averaging more than 30 minutes per game in his last four contests. Either will be a great option, but LaVine may be best suited for a guard or utility role.
