Top Four SGs

  1. DeMar DeRozan (Raptors) – $8,100 @ Nuggets (23rd)
  2. Khris Middleton (Bucks) – $7,100 @ Kings (29th)
  3. Monta Ellis (Pacers) – $7,000 vs. Cavaliers (12th)
  4. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Pistons) – $5,700 @ Nets (17th)

Rationale:

  • DeRozan tallied 47.8 fantasy points against the Nuggets in their first meeting. He’s scoring 39.5 FPPG in his last two games, and his ability to crash the boards, move the ball and play well defensively all add extra fantasy value.
  • Middleton scored 36.5 fantasy points against the Kings in their first meeting. He scores 2.6 FPPG better on the road than at home, and the Kings have been generous to opposing shooting guards, ranking as the second-worst team against the position.
  • Ellis scored 38.8 fantasy points in his first meeting with the Cavs. He’s playing well, scoring 56.0 FPPG in his last two games. He also plays better at home, scoring 3.7 FPPG better than on the road.
  • Caldwell-Pope has proven that he can hit value against the Nets, scoring 26.8 FPPG in two games. In those games he has struggled to be efficient with his shooting, going 8-for-25 from the field and 2-for-9 from the field. He should improve on those numbers, since it can’t get much worse.
