Best Bargains

Patrick Beverley ($4,200) may be the best bargain among guards. He scored 24.5 fantasy points against the Wizards in his last game. He’s also playing well for his value, averaging 25.8 FPPG in his last four games. The Wizards are 14th against point guards, but Beverley has found his best value crashing the boards.

Alonzo Gee ($4,400) has played consistently well, in terms of fantasy, over his last four games. He’s eclipsed the 20-fantasy point mark in each game and has scored 23.9 FPPG over that span. His ability to reach double figures in scoring and his effectiveness in the rebounding department makes him a strong play.

Players To Sit

Bradley Beal ($6,300) continues to be a player to sit. Since returning from injury, he’s only playing 21.5 minutes per game in six games. During those same six games, he’s only scoring 22.8 FPPG. Beal expects to be on a minutes restriction for the rest of his career, according to Yahoo Sports, which he will have to adjust to that role.

LeBron James ($9,500) has been ineffective against the Spurs this season. He was shut down by defensive standout Kawhi Leonard. He only tallied 36.8 fantasy points in their only meeting this season, which is 10.0 FPPG less that his season average. Perhaps the fast-paced tempo will change things on Saturday, but it’s not worth the risk.

The more popular DraftKings leagues will only have five games to draft from on Saturday night. But all matchups and players were considered for today’s coverage. Diving deep to find the best bargains is going to be a struggle because there isn’t a lot of depth out on the wings for Saturday.
