2. Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics are one of the most complete teams in the NBA. There are multiple quality players at every position—literally—and an abundance of assets that could be utilized in a potential trade.

If Danny Ainge can get his hands on Tyreke Evans, he’d effectively solidify the Celtics’ half court offense.

Evans is an isolation scoring threat who can run the pick-and-roll, split screens, and finish in traffic. His jump shot is faulty, but Boston’s ability to turn Evan Turner into a consistent contributor on a postseason team should calm your nerves.

With Evans, it’d have a complementary scorer to help All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas create with consistency.

Brad Stevens runs an offense that depends heavily on depth and strength in numbers. By adding a player who can provide upwards of 30 quality minutes per game, Boston would create a greater sense of stability near the top.

Evans isn’t necessarily a cure-all, but Boston has more than enough assets to acquire him without damaging its future.
