Top Four SGs

  1. James Harden (Rockets) – $10,000 @ Thunder (13th)
  2. Khris Middleton (Bucks) – $7,200 vs. Heat (5th)
  3. Dwyane Wade (Heat) – $6,700 @ Bucks (14th)
  4. J.R. Smith (Cavaliers) – $5,500 @ Pistons (16th)

Rationale:

  • Harden is the Rockets’ playmaker, and he’s done just that with two triple-doubles in his last five games and coming two rebounds away from a third. After tallying 58.8 fantasy points against the Thunder this season, he should hit again on Friday.
  • Middleton scored 46.3 points in his previous meeting with the Heat. He’s scored 20-plus points in his last seven games, which has led to him scoring 39.4 FPPG in that time. He’s emerged as a go-to scorer for the Bucks, which bodes well for his fantasy value.
  • Wade has been playing like Flash in his last three games. He’s shooting over 50 percent, scoring the ball, rebounding, assisting and defending. Wade is scoring 43.3 FPPG in his last three games, including two games with 45-plus fantasy points.
  • Smith only scored 23.8 fantasy points in the first meeting with the Pistons, but riding the hot hand is smart. He’s scoring 32.6 FPPG in his last four games, in large part due to his scoring, rebounding and defense. He’s going to take shots and will make them, which is why he’s valuable.
