NBA Trade Rumors: 6 DeMarcus Cousins Trades
New York Knicks
Carmelo Anthony is playing in one of the best stretches of his career, especially over the past few seasons. The New York Knicks could go full-blown win-now mode by executing a trade for Cousins and point guard Darren Collison.
Adding Cousins and Collison would give the Knicks a formidable lineup for years to come. With Kristaps Porzingis‘ freakish athleticism and size to go with Cousins’ ability to dominate the boards and score at a high rate, the Knicks’ front court would be set for a long time. Having Anthony out on the wing as one of the games best scorers isn’t a bad offensive option either.
Getting Collison to start at point guard, which he’s capable of doing, would give the Knicks the fourth man that they need going forward. However, giving up so much talent would require them to sign a couple of guards to give them needed depth. The only two-guard that they’d be left with is Sasha Vujacic, and Jose Calderon would likely be the man to start at shooting guard.

The deal is pretty sweet for the Kings, too. Gaining Robin Lopez allows the Kings to move Cauley-Stein to the power forward position due to his athleticism, though Koufos could also see time at power forward.
The real treat for the Kings is out on the wing and in the backcourt. Veteran guard Arron Afflalo would provide needed support to the Kings rotation and could contribute as a starter immediately. Rookie Jerian Grant, youngster Langston Galloway and forward Lance Thomas provide added depth and are players that can develop long-term for the Kings.
According to Hollinger’s trade machine, the Knicks would profit two wins on the trade, despite being left shorthanded on the roster. The Kings, on the other hand, would against stay their current course.

If I was Kings general manager Vlade Divac, I’m dealing Boogie while his stock is at an all-time high. Not only is his stock high, the return will also be high. Of the deals constructed, I’m high on the Celtics trade, with the Lakers deal being a close second, though all present their different pros and cons.
