Kevin Durant is back to being one of the most dominant players in the NBA. Over the past week, Durant took over games in virtually every phase as the Oklahoma City Thunder improved to 35-13.

Durant’s been a Top 5 player for most of 2015-16, but this past week only further solidified his place in the Top 4.

Durant picked up 24 points and seven assists in a win over the Dallas Mavericks, and erupted for 32 points, 10 rebounds, seven dimes, two steals, and one block against the Brooklyn Nets. He also tallied 27 points, nine rebounds, and five assists in a 126-123 escape of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Durant also went off for 44 points, 14 rebounds, and five assists in a 128-122 road win over the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

Not only is Durant back in superstar form, but he’s back with a vengeance. With 34 games remaining on the schedule, he’s coming into his own as both a scorer and a facilitator, all the while maintaining a high level of defensive proficiency.

Durant must make individual sacrifices as a player on a team with multiple superstars, but that doesn’t make his greatness any less obvious.
