Kawhi Leonard and the San Antonio Spurs posted a dud against the Golden State Warriors. Despite the obvious signs of being championship contenders, the 30-point loss to Golden State has many concerned.

Leonard is having one of the best seasons of any player in the NBA, and the Spurs are right there with him as a team. The 24-year-old is No. 2 in the NBA in Win Shares and Win Shares per 48 minutes, and San Antonio has the second-best record in the Association.
Between his dominant defense and star-caliber offensive game, Leonard has become a true force to be reckoned with.
Leonard had another strong week individually, but statistics only tell so much of the story under head coach Gregg Popovich. A more accurate representation of Leonard’s greatness is his featured role.
Leonard is an elite defensive player, a consistent threat for 20 points, and the primary catalyst to a masterful two-way attack.
