Anthony Davis is one of the most statistically intriguing players in recent NBA history. Some have hypothesized that he’s on pace to be the next Kevin Garnett, while others believe that he’s Elton Brand—elite numbers on a bad team.

A postseason appearance in 2014-15 and a quiet resurgence in 2015-16 suggest the former.

The New Orleans Pelicans have won five of their past seven games, and Davis has played an instrumental role in every win. Over this past week, his value was firmly established when he led New Orleans to back-to-back wins over the Detroit Pistons and Milwaukee Bucks.

The Pelicans also lost to the Houston Rockets—a game during which Davis left early due to concussion symptoms.

Davis’ numbers rival the very best in the modern NBA, and often draw comparisons to the stars of yesteryear. Even in the midst of a subpar team season, the 22-year-old has found ways to leave the Association in awe.

Seriously, how is he already this good at 22?
