The Orlando Magic

Point guard might not be super high on Orlando’s list of concerns, but head coach Scott Skiles seems to be interested in winning now rather than later. With Jeff Teague running the show instead of Elfrid Payton, winning would be a much more attainable goal.

Plus, Orlando just so happens to have a serviceable wing player available who is already signed to a long-term contract who could replace the unrestricted Bazemore.

This would likely be the biggest trade of the season. It’s massive. And it doesn’t seem completely out of the realm of possibility. The Magic love Evan Fournier, but he’s also unrestricted and going to make a pretty penny in free agency this offseason. Plus Tobias Harris isn’t fitting in well, and he’s owed a ton already by Orlando.

This move allows the Magic to hit the reset button on his deal, and also picks up a great point guard in Teague. The Hawks get two great wing players, which makes them incredibly solid from top to bottom. This trade would shake up the whole Eastern Conference, and might propel the Magic back into the playoff picture.
