NBA Trade Rumors: 6 Potential Landing Spots For Jeff Teague

With the latest NBA trade rumors indicating that the Atlanta Hawks are interesting in dealing point guard Jeff Teague, here are some likely trade partners.

NBA trade rumors are starting to pick up as the trade deadline draws ever closer. On Wednesday morning, Chris Mannix over at Yahoo Sports tweeted out that the Atlanta Hawks are doing some shopping with the other 29 NBA teams.

Mannix also mentions that Dennis Schroder has been shopped around somewhat too, but that the Hawks are more likely to deal Teague. So now the question becomes, to where?

That’s not an easy question to answer. NBA trade rumors are some of the hardest things to gauge. Sometimes they’re complete myths, thrown out by teams or agents to act as a smokescreen or a leverage ploy. Sometimes they’re accurate, but talks just fall through.

Then there are the rare times when trades really do go down. Atlanta feels like a franchise that could be looking to shake things up. After a terrific 60-win season in 2015, the Hawks have been good but not great this year.

Trading Teague could be a shock to the system that Atlanta needs to go on a run and truly challenge the Toronto Raptors or Cleveland Cavaliers for the top of the Eastern Conference.
