32. 30 Points in One Quarter

One of the most awe-inspiring aspects of Kobe Bryant’s career is his uncanny ability to put up points in a hurry. Full-game numbers are stellar, but Bryant often found a way to dominate in just one quarter’s time.

The Utah Jazz found that out the hard way when Bryant scored more points in one quarter than most players post in a full game.

Bryant, donning the famous No. 24, erupted for 30 points in the third quarter of a 132-102 victory over the Utah Jazz. It was a flat-out dominant performance by Bryant, who finished the game with one of the most overwhelmingly efficient stat lines imaginable.

Bryant’s tally: 52 points on 19-of-26 shooting from the field with just one turnover.

Bryants struck again with 50 points on 18-of-25 shooting later that season, but this game is the one that makes the list. He played a borderline flawless game, attacking with tenacity and maintaining his efficiency.

In the blink of an eye, Bryant could get hot and dominate the opposition.
