Best Bargains

Patrick Beverley ($4,200) has started the last two games for the Houston Rockets at the point guard position. In those two games, he’s scoring 28.0 FPPG. Though he’s playing against the ever-difficult Spurs, Beverley has scored 20 fantasy points or more in six of his last seven contests.

Shabazz Muhammad ($4,700) continues to add value as a forward option. He’s scored 20 fantasy points or more in five straight games. He’s been one of the Wolves’ go-to-guys off the bench. He will get anywhere from 10 to 15 shots up per night, which is good for DraftKings players since field goal percentages don’t matter.

He’s also scoring 23.8 FPPG in two meetings with the Thunder, for what it’s worth.

Players To Sit

James Harden ($10,000) has not played well against the Spurs this season. He’s only scoring 32.0 FPPG in two meetings with them this season. Despite scoring 66.6 FPPG over his last four games, including two triple-doubles, expect the Spurs to come out angry and limit the Rockets’ best threat.

Al Horford ($6,800) will need to rebound to provide value against the Clippers. Horford only averages 7.1 rebounds per game, and that shrinks to 6.2 rebounds per game at home. The Clippers are 28th in opponents rebounding percentage at 47.6 percent. If Horford can rebound, he’ll have a good game. But it’s a tough task against DeAndre Jordan.

A few lineup notes, Derrick Favors returned on Monday night against the Pistons. He only played 20 minutes, so keep him out of your DraftKings lineups until he gets cleared for more.

Dwight Howard has been battling an ankle injury suffered last week against the Pistons. He’s missed three games and is listed as questionable for Wednesday, but if he can go he should be considered at center. Lastly, the guard position appears to be where most of the scoring will come from with the power forward and center positions having a drop-off in production.
