Top Four PGs

  1. Stephen Curry (Warriors) – $10,700 vs. Mavericks (25th)
  2. Kemba Walker (Hornets) – $8,800 @ Jazz (9th)
  3. Reggie Jackson (Pistons) – $7,000 vs. 76ers (15th)
  4. Kyrie Irving (Cavaliers) – $6,500 vs. Suns (30th)

Rationale:

  • Curry has not played the Mavericks yet this season, but he is playing very well. He’s scoring 62.2 FPPG over his last five games. Curry burned Spurs’ forward Kawhi Leonard, so can the Mavericks contain him on his home court?
  • Walker had a career game against the Jazz with a career-high 52 points and put up 80.75 fantasy points. The Jazz lost point guard Raul Neto to a concussion on Monday and he could be out Wednesday, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. The injury certainly helps Walker’s quest to top his 52-point performance.
  • Jackson is coming off of a game-high 29-point performance against the Jazz in his last time out. He’s scoring 32.3 FPPG in three meetings with the 76ers and averages 6.6 FPPG better at home than on the road.
  • Irving scored 28.8 fantasy points in a previous meeting with the Suns. With Brandon Knight not making the trip, that makes the NBA’s worst team against point guards even worse. Under new head coach Tyronn Lue‘s system, Irving will be crucial in pushing the tempo.
